Wood's AC Cortina 12K AirSwitch has a cooling capacity of 3.5 kW (12,000 BTU), making it efficient in rooms up to 35 m2. With an airflow of 320 m3/h, it cools the room quickly, so you can enjoy the perfect indoor temperature all year round. It's effective up to 43°, a temperature few other portable ACs can handle, so you can be sure it cools well even on the hottest days of the year.
AirSwitch™ is a revolutionary and patent-pending solution developed by Wood's. With AirSwitch™, the room can be cooled with cooler air from outside, making the cooling extremely quiet and energy efficient. In addition, the air is effectively purified by a HEPA filter.
AirSwitch Auto: Automatically switches between compressor cooling and AirSwitch cooling with cold outside air. When the outdoor air is colder than your desired set temperature, often at night, AirSwitch automatically activates and quietly and energy-efficiently brings in purified, cold outdoor air. If the outdoor temperature is warmer than your set temperature, it cools as usual with the compressor.
AirSwitch: When the outdoor air is colder than your room temperature, it cools constantly with the colder outdoor air until your set temperature is reached. If the outdoor air is warmer than the room, the unit stops taking in outside air and goes into ventilation mode, purifying the air in the room.
When Wood's AC Cortina 12K AirSwitch Smart Home Duo A+ is switched on, the air is purified through a HEPA filter. It effectively captures and removes particles such as dust, pollen, mould spores, bacteria, and even small smoke particles from the air, providing a cleaner and healthier indoor environment.
Despite its high cooling capacity, the Wood's AC Cortina 12K operates at a low noise level of 53 dB. Equipped with wheels, it is easy to move to where you need cooling the most. The included remote control allows you to adjust the temperature from the comfort of your sofa or bed. Additionally, the included window kit makes it easy to exhaust warm, moist air, reducing humidity and creating a more comfortable indoor climate.
