Hygrometer for controlling humidity and temperature

For a healthy indoor climate, it is important to keep an eye on the humidity. Wood’s WHG-1 makes it easy to measure both humidity and temperature, so you can detect problems before they cause damage.

Keep the humidity level around 50% (RH)

The recommended relative humidity is around 50%. If the humidity level is below this, you may need to add moisture using a humidifier to sleep better and avoid dry, cracked skin. Furniture, interiors, instruments and floors are also negatively affected by low humidity. If you have high humidity instead, you need a dehumidifier to prevent mould, odours and moisture from taking hold and damaging your home. Keep in mind that humidity varies greatly throughout the seasons and in different rooms.

Prevent damage and mould

With the WHG-1, you can keep track of moisture in sensitive areas such as basements, crawl spaces and laundry rooms. Excess moisture can cause mould, rust and rot, but by monitoring the readings on the hygrometer, you can take action in time. Below 72%, black mould stops growing and below 68%, mould fungus stops developing.

Practical and user-friendly

The WHG-1 has a clear display showing humidity, temperature, time and calendar. It measures temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit and has a Max/Min function to show the highest and lowest measured values.

Placement tips
