With the duct connection, the dry, warm air is directed where it is most needed, ensuring that the entire space is dehumidified – not just the immediate vicinity of the dehumidifier.

Manufactured in Sweden, with sturdy legs and a robust stainless steel construction, the DSC95P is built to last. You can easily control it and monitor the humidity and temperature with the external control panel. It is connected to a 2-metre cable (included and can be extended if necessary), which means you don’t have to crawl into the crawl space. The condensation water is automatically drained away without a water tank via the supplied drainage hose, and the built-in pump can lift the water up to 10 metres, providing great flexibility during installation. The DSC95P restarts automatically after a power failure, ensuring a dry, safe environment around the clock, all year round.

Easy installation and low operating costs

Wood’s DSC95P is a condensation dehumidifier that combines durability and advanced technology. It is equipped with Wood’s patented i-EcoDefrost, an intelligent defrosting system that maximises energy efficiency and ensures consistent and reliable dehumidification, even at temperatures as low as +2°C. This is something that many other condensation dehumidifiers cannot handle. Unlike sorption dehumidifiers (which are common in crawl spaces), it is significantly more energy efficient, has much lower operating and purchase costs, and requires less maintenance. Another important advantage is that no expensive installation or complicated piping is required other than directing the condensation water to an existing drain or simply digging a stone pit.

Installation tips for the DSC95P crawl space dehumidifier

1.  Seal the vents and, if possible, lay down a ground cloth to prevent unnecessary inflow of moist air.
2.  Place the dehumidifier centrally in the crawl space for best air distribution.
3.  Drain the condensation water using the drainage hose provided. If there is no drain, you can dig a simple stone pit (20–30 cm deep, filled with macadam) and lead the hose down into it.
4.  Connect the duct hose to distribute dry air to distant parts of the foundation or create better circulation.
5.  Place the control panel near the entrance/opening to easily monitor the humidity level without having to enter the crawl space.
