How a desiccant dehumidifier works

At the heart of the WDD90 is a rotating rotor filled with absorbent material that captures moisture from the air. This is then released using heat and transported to a condenser, where it is converted into water. The water is collected in the container or drained away via a hose. The process has a natural side effect – as heat is used, energy is released which raises the temperature in the room slightly, making the WDD90 particularly suitable for cold environments where extra heat is required.
