Follow these steps to install your crawl space dehumidifier and optimise protection against moisture.
\nSeal vents and openings to keep moisture out. For the dehumidifier to work effectively, the space should be as airtight as possible. Ground cloth and sealing of ventilation openings and other moisture inlets prevent moisture from entering, which means that the dehumidifier only needs to deal with the moisture that is already in the crawl space.
