A clothes dryer/drying room dehumidifier removes moisture from the watervapor in the air and turns it into water. The water is either collected in a container or led via a hose to a drain. The LD series also converts the energy contained in the watervapor into heat, which the dehumidifier blows out as hot air, providing increased air circulation and an optimal drying effect.

Relative humidity and mold

Mold often occurs where leakage, water damage, and flooding have occurred. It can also occur near windows, where prolonged condensation quickly creates moisture problems.

When the relative humidity reaches 75- 80% and the air begins to secrete water in the form of condensation, organic materials become the breeding ground for mold growth.
